Cain's world shatters with the death of his mother, leaving a void that nothing can fill. His only solace comes from his two best friends: Good, a devout and disciplined boxer on the verge of Olympic glory, and Ugly, a brutally honest, free-spirited fighter. They are his brothers in all but blood, and their complicated bonds were forged in the boxing ring and on the gritty streets of their neighborhood.

When a single act of heroism forces Cain to choose between his family and his friends, he sacrifices his own freedom for his best friend's future. The choice thrusts him into a world of crime and deception, testing his loyalties and forcing him to confront the dark side of a city he once called home.

At the same time, Cain falls in love with their sister, Eve—a forbidden love that offers hope, passion, and belonging, but also risks tearing his fragile brotherhood apart.

With his life spiraling, Cain must find a way back to the man he once was, before his choices cost him everything. But the boxing ring is a brutal place, and the streets are even more so. Will he make it out, or will he discover that the lines between good and bad are more blurred than he ever imagined?

Reviews

“I was not ready for how deep this story hit. Cain is out here breaking his own life to save the people he loves, and every choice he makes hurts in the best story way. You have boxing, street drama, brother loyalty, and a love story that is sweet and dangerous at the same time. I loved how real everyone felt, especially the tension between Cain and Good, because it felt like watching family fall apart and still love each other anyway. If you like emotional punches, tough guys with soft hearts, and romance tangled up in trouble, you need this book in your life. 🔥🥊❤️”

—Sue, Goodreads

“This story pulled me in fast with the mix of boxing, brotherhood, and a love that was never supposed to happen. Cain’s choice to give up his own future to save his friend sends him into a world of crime, secrets, and emotional fallout, and I loved how messy and human it all felt. The tension between Cain, Good, and Ugly made every chapter feel personal, not just dramatic, and the romance with Eve added heart to all the danger. I really enjoyed reading this because it felt raw and emotional instead of polished and predictable, and I never felt sure how things would turn out for Cain.”

Working Together

“Overall, working with Robin was a great experience. She is very knowledgeable and seems dedicated to providing excellent service. Her communication style is straightforward, thorough, yet tactful. She responds to all questions with genuine answers, no matter how simple they may be. Professional editing, attention to detail, and the ability to capture the vision of the book made Robin the perfect person to guide the way to publishing my book.”
